TBH, I think a UK only beam is going to favour Italy compared to 1N.

we all can speculate but until it in orbit no one but ses and austrium will really know wher eit might be issible

Couldn't agree more, Andrew.

We know 1N is only temporary at 28.2E

We know it will be replaced.

We don't know whether the replacement will make reception in Italy (or anywhere else where there have been past difficulties) better, or worse, than it is right now.

But it is appropriate to remind our friends there that today's situation is as the result of a temporary change.

BBC 1,2, etc... ITV 1,2, etc... C4, C5, +1 all fine SD and HD !! Tested on friends dish. Waiting for a new 130cm offset dish myself. 20miles more to the west than friend's location.
