The SES website have added Astra 1N, which is to provide spot beam capacity at 28.2ºE from next year, to their Google Earth based footprint mapping service (found via the link at -www.ses-astra.com/business/en/satellite-fleet/index.php").
As shown on this snapshot of the 1N footprint, -www.flickr.com/photos/54601843@N03/5068070339/, it is not nearly as tight as many had been feared - receivable throughout Portugal and in northern Italy on an 80 cm dish.
