The new satellites have very steep signal strength drop offs at the edges of the beam. Its extremely unlikely you have any chance whatsoever of getting the Astra 2 signals - if for no other reason the adjacent very strong signals coming off Badr 26E will cause severe interference in your location.

What sized dish are you planning to use? What channels do you want? There may be easier satellites to get them off

So far out of the transmission area the only advice we can give you is:

Give it a try and good luck. And be aware any sensible hobby sized antenna is not going to be any use at all!

thx Sir for detailed answer
now I have solid 190 cm prime focus dish antenna with regular LNB available here in the markets called ( Strong )
the dish was abandoned , I reinstalled it and fixed it focal length accuratly .
I could recevie some hard satellite to get here , such as NSS-6 95'E and the other one at 93.5' E
and many other satellites which are easy to catch
but still could'nt get ASTRA 28.2' E
planning to enlarge the dish antenna up to 260 cm or even 300 cm
thx for the advice
I was planning to enlarge dish , use LNB such as inverto with feedhorn

It would probably be better to go down the IPTV route, providing you have fast enough broadband, as 28.2E has 3 beams, according to lyngsat.
The UK spotbeam, which you will never get:

The Europe beam:

and the West Africa beam:

Some SAT-related hardware.

N-E from Riga

But do not go for mesh dish, that will not be good for Ku-band reception. Than I see you do not have so many chances to find solid dish bigger than 2.4m. Is there any chance you post some pictures of your current antenna? 1.9m is quite unusual size. Here in Europe 1.8m is more common.

There is also a Middle Eastern beam on one of the birds (2E?) - which doesnt seem to have been powered up as far as we are aware.

1.9m will be far too small unless there is some exceedingly unlikely freak reception conditions. Even extending it Im sorry to say your chances are very remote. Not impossible though - a couple of Astra 2A transponders were reported in Yemen on a 2.4m dish a few years ago. 2A is no longer in service at 28E but it does illustrate odd things can happen.

Astra 28e received in Yemen

However unlikely it may be do keep on experimenting - you may get lucky at some point :) And should you manage some reception please do let us know - its the freak out of area reception that many of us love chasing!

:)

1 - of course mesh dish is out of plan
2- I can manage to get antenna dish at any size up to 6 meters diameter
3- I ll try sent photos of dish soon as I am far of home now for 2 weeks
