Im shocked, a 3.8 meter Patriot signal in Sicily, probably I will need a 10 meter in Amman-Jordan to even dream of recieving Astra. Is Astra the worst or what

No, reports from astra2d.co.uk show a 7 meter dish will do.
"Confirmed report from 30km outside of Amman, test done by local installer."

Any news? With a 3.8meter dish you should be able to pick up astra2a/2b.
You should also have some astra2d reception, even if possibly not enough to get a picture.

The guys from Rome should come in three weeks time.
I was watching at the pic about the adjustable feedhorn for Invacom LNB, if I wanted to try this on my dish where I could find the feedhorn support to match with my Patriot?
Do you remember The ADL feedhorn and the mounting ring I have? The way it is now I could never match it with my dish.

You should try with another transponder, maybe H this time, you might not be able to pice V, but H may be ok. In my case i receive only V signals using 1,8 prome focus, but no H's at all. In your case it might be vice versa

I dont think they will come before September.
It is really unbelivable how we get a strong signal of about 74 db but not Astra 2D at all.
We tried with Invacom Twin and Quad but nothing at all;
Maybe I should try with another feedhorn but then I would have the problem how to match it to the feed support.

We checked everything nad it seems that the problem is on the dish.
It is probably not very well assamblated.
The guy walked on the dish, and we could see the signal from BBC.
So now we need to do this other try.
