Astra 2E: Iberia & Balearics Reports

Plenty of reports coming in from my sources across Spain saying that frequency 11778, the sky epg feed, is coming in nice and clear since its move from 2anorht to 2epe last night.
Reports include "never seen these test screen signal bars so high", and "I am getting the full sky epg, not just a six hour block"
Hopefully this mean no more having to change the default transponder to help the sky box boot up, and a full 7 day and series link service!!!

Yep, my old Pace doesn't know what's hit it! Shame it won't be of much use soon....

This morning we have assets and changes in satellite footprint north and notice the difference in Madrid.
Are almost all tp's this track that I have of transferred reference.
Observe more changes in the position of the satellites, I can see the difference and 28'2 to 28'5 corrections have reference have varied, the day is overcast to see levels at 100%, compare with data on Monday.

Esta mañana ya tenemos activos los cambios de satelite de la huella norte y se nota la diferencia en Madrid.
Casi estan todos los tp's de esta huella que tengo de referencia traspasados.
Observo mas cambios en la posicion de los satelites, puedo ver la diferencia de 28'2 a 28'5 y las correcciones que tengo de referencia han variado, el dia esta muy nublado para ver niveles al 100%, comparo con el datos del lunes.

i can see panic attacks with some bandits and cowboys around costablanca´s area ..soon the topic of getting english tv with big dish or rebroadcast will be closed for many years

Those were measured using my Ultimo, and the readings from that STB correspond very closely with my Emitor Satlook HD Color spectrum analyser. For PSB channels (FEC 5/6) anything above 7.5dB will give an error free picture, but don't forget 2F varies in strength throughout the day by almost 1dB in this region, so 2E UK beam may do similar.

First I'd just like to say condolences to anyone that has lost all their BBC channels. ITV and Channel 4 (more4, E4, etc) haven't migrated yet but expect the same from them too.

Here on the Costa Blanca 1 metre dishes are now a thing of the past for sure. Not much headroom with a 110cm dish either. All channels play ok but 8PSK transponders are a bit flaky. I'm going to put up a 1.4m for testing later today see how much headroom there is on that.

Now we just need to follow the daily signal trend of this satellite. If it is anything like 2F power will rise over the next few hours.

I concur with this for where I am (Gandia)
Although my 80cm dish still receives 2F fine, it does not receive 2Es uk beam at all.
The 90x100 dish gets a small trace of signals, but not enough.
The 1.8m dish has no problems.

Will be putting up a 100x110 and a 125x140 later today
