The KA page is a bit out of date regarding satellite positions etc, plus I have a few more updates to put in there, maybe gets some time in the next week or so to do that update. I'm mostly interested in the milsats with Ka downlinks but noted quite a few domestic TV satellites at Ka as well.

Will keep you updated with findings.

Happy to have any info on satellites around the arc, be it Ka Milsat or civilian Paul. We can always start a new thread in this section.

Hi all, quick screen grab of the spectrum between 7250 and 7750 from 21.5E - this was when Sicral 1 was at zero degrees inclination, there is very little traffic on this satellite, only its beacon and 1 QPSK. Astra 2G is still on air with its test carrier + DVB-S promo loop.

If anyone wants a copy of the recording, PM me and I'll give you a link, its only 43Mb due to the low rate video.

Solly: Currently Astra 2G X band has a strong carrier on 7676MHz and a DVB-S QPSK on 7681MHz.

Hi all, noticed a BPSK signal on 20250MHz LHCP last night from 21 / 22 east, very strong signal, maybe from Astra 2G Ka band TPX. (Note slight LO offset results in a BPSK centre freq about 3MHz down from reality)

That's almost certainly the inclined SBIRS-Geo 2 Paul. Placeholder for 2G maybe. Coming into view now.
