Audio but no video on telstar 12 transponder fta channel please help!

Channels with the same pids just a few MHz apart can cause problems. I had no end of problems on 10E to begin with with similar channels.

Try offsetting the frequencies by a couple of Mhz when you scan so if the actual frequency is 11000MHz try 11002 or 10998

I have exactly the same problem that u described LOVEUSTV. I guess it is due to NTSC modulation on certain digital receivers like dreambox that have not sufficiently sensitive tuner. Furthermore, I do use a Diseqc 1.0 4 inputs 1 outputs switch that may not help. ^

Here is the solution that I found totally by zapping from one channel to another from another satellite.

You only have to select a previous channel that broadcasts in PAL standard then come back rapidly (before the color standard switch by ur receiver) to the NBC SATOPS channel (MSNBC with US advertisement)

This problem affects only the following frequency :

11528 MHz H 3200 7/8 called DAD-5 Fiber TX-12

Another feed called DAD-6 - FT-112 is available on the following frequency :

11519 MHz H 3740 7/8 with some quite interesting NBC programs :-)/ The problem on that channel is that sometimes, the sound is lowered I don't know why. If anyone has a clue (and a solution), he/she is welcome ;)

Yes, noticed that particularly on the OB stuff. Not unusual though on many feeds I've come across. Although often when there's a static card up, a voiceover booms out normally.
