Looks suspiciously like a Gibertini 1.25 clone G, clue is on the box as well. Looks nice enough.
Yes, but also reminds me of the one @Spiff had some problems with from SSS.
Spiff's dish had the same displacement of the mount (relative to the bottom) as the one in question has.
I'd be wary....

Nice CM wall/ground stand, after a scrub-up.
Scary. Exactly my thoughts looking at the pics.
Came through my mind: "Nice 3" wall-muont, worth every penny. Ditch the dish and get the mount."
Then I read your comment... :confused

Yea , nice mount. I have the same. Once I had installed Ajak motor on it and it fell down and broke the motor. OK, that was my fault. If somebody wish to have such a mount, you can have it for free, just pay shipping costs.

Yes, a stongly made Tri-Mount, and versatile. Too versatile - when I originally rawlbolted mine down many moons ago, I had the bent base facing to the front. Took me some time before I figured out the correct way. That was some time before any approaching senility :(

Yes, CM120..... nice dish. I would not mind to change my 120 to 100, just to play with it.

What's your current dish count, Rimant? Think you might have enough to play with!

Now I have less than some time ago. Sold 8 or so. But you are right, still have enough to play with. But usually it is not enough time.

I don't even have time to play with my 1.8m... as you know, even my welding has taken a back-seat. Believe it or not, I am actually using the dish to *watch* some TV!

After scrutinizing the images, I do think that's actually a 120.

However, I have a CM100 literally just lying about at the moment. In your case, you can have it for free - if you collect... :)

IMAG0513_33pct.jpg

It's rather unhandy, though, as the feedarm fastening bolts have rusted solid. This can of course be dealt with, but it's a rather unwieldly size as is.
But I'm sure it will fit into some suitable packaging as checked-in luggage in an airplane ;)

Which reminds me; just why did you end up using the CM180 instead of the lighter Laminas 1800?
In principle, the should be equal in performance, but the Laminas could be a lighter strain on the actuators?

Yes using the CM 1.8 instead of the Laminas. There's virtually no difference in performance but the CM is more sturdy when used with LNB changes and is why I kind of stuck with it. But it's much heavier!!

I'll recondition and beef up one of the 1224 motors this year and flog it with the Laminas.

Ah! Makes sense.

BTW, have you tried stringing it like @John?
Even if it's sturdier, it might still bend slightly...
Which is probably why the Rx/Tx versions of the dish comes with a feed arm much beafier etc.
(whereas the prodelins have a differnt metal back support ensuring rigidity.)

But I think the Laminas would probably deform even more, as far as I can decode from their documentation it's just smc; there is no ribbing or struts or anything like that.
Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to your forays into the Lamians on a 1224.

Indeed worth checking ... my old 1.8 was quite a bit out .... but fairly easy to correct ... post 41 and 43 ......

Job lot of mounts and dishes.

In the listing decsription there are available 4 x tripod/non pen stands, 2 x 1.2m channel master and 2 x 1.2m viasat dishes. The seller has 4 listings so I am not sure if the £50 starting bid is for the job lot or one pair of dish and stand, probably for a pair?
