It knocked my sky dish out of alignment, I’ve managed to move it back now but just goes to show how much effort goes in when putting them up. The 90cm motorised was fine remarkably. Fingers crossed that one survives tomorrows 75mph.
No problems here so far - the Sky Z2 on the conservatory roof seems fine, as does the 1.2m Gibby down the garden which still seems to get 53E (always marginal due to the pitched edge of a neighbouring roof) to 30W, although the latter end of the arc
may have moved
very slightly.
Will aim to take another look tomorrow afternoon when we have had the forthcoming "bit of a blow"!
PS: was talking to several people (my dentist, the guy at the Tesco C&C) this morning and they were apparently still blissfully unaware of the coming "problems". It puzzles/worries me that so many people don't seem to keep a close eye on the weather forecasts - this is the UK after all
.
PPS: currently I'm finding the insertion of Quoted posts to be very "iffy" as sometimes that works but often it doesn't - so have the winds already got to the main data distribution networks??????
