cccam 2.1.4 on gemini 4.4

hi nistleboy, yes it came in a box i bought at a place in nottingham paid £220,,,, i ftp 2.1.4 as a .tar.gz file and installed it but it doesn't appear in the softcam list, all i have is mgcamd2 1.31/newcs2 1.65, or mgcamd2 1.31 or common interface..............

i went to the dream multimedia site and down looaded there latest firmware ver 3.0.3, after install it halted with message "hardware could not be verified" please contact dream multimedia, support code 0x1800f...... which i did and i'm still awaiting there reply!!!! do you think this confirms it a clone?, surly it would have installed the latest firmware without hardware issues if it is genuine!, what do you think????..................

If it was a genuine dox it should run with that firmware. Yes it looks like a clone.

Here is the image I'm using on my clone with a sim 2.0.1 card. Tunisiasat-mFaraj57 openpli-v1.0-2010-09-05. If you search for it you should find it. My box originally came with a different image and I had to fash it with a null modem cable and the ethernet connection but you may not need to do this. There are guides on how to flash a clone if you are having problems.

Hi meagain & nistleboy, managed to download a program called bermooda ppanel full 5.3.ipk, i installed it and it gives me PPANEL in plugins menu!, managed to install ccam 2.2.1, edited the ccconfig file with my c-line in it, but it still won't open S*Y channels!!, any suggestions again please!!! thank you .......

Try using your card in your box and see if it lets you view the channels if it does then Cccam is probably working and it's your configuration that is wrong. I had problems with my configuration but both DMs worked with just the card installed.
