Not updated this for a while as I've been having so much fun with this, the dish has been up a few days.
Signals are approx 2-3dB or higher than my gibby 1m. Which is helping me quite a bit on weaker transponders.
Ended up using 4 core 0.75mm Mains flex, was really cheap from the wholesalers and really nice stuff, was rather OCD about the wiring to the VBOX so sleeved it, tinned the ends and colour coded the wires.
Things left to do... Paint the dish, fit a IBU Twin and run some more coax (That's why the actuator wire isn't on the pole) And I might even get a 1.5m Pole to give me a bit more than 46E
Restored Polar Mount, new bearings, all bolts INOX (Stainless)
New "SuperJack" Actuator, I covered this in Lidl Cavity protection spray, it's waxy stuff you use on a car chassis.
Restored LNB arms with Lidl Alloy Wheel Paint, I think they came out very well!
Mount from RimaNTSS, I drilled the concrete and chemically set the bolts, there are 2 nuts and 2 washers to each bolt to help level everything.
Bought a Galv 3" pole from a local sign company for £10, seems it's a standard item used for signs so quite easy to get hold of.
Bit of random pipe I had, just to stop me stepping on the wires!
Tinned and sleeved cable to VBOX-II
New editions, Mutant HD51, VBOX II (Thanks
@Captain Jack for the VBOX II) I stripped it down and painted it Black with Lidl Matte Black spray paint,
Also bought a Edision Primo IP S2
