K+ had a lovely if strange rendition of "Jingle bells" played on traditional instruments after their midnight. 7 News didnt do anything until showing the Presidential speech after midnight.

Very quiet on the encrypted 28E Indian channels. No lead up celebrations, and just a few a few vox pops around the country after midnight..

(NDTV 24x7 Sky epg 511 - encrypted to 6 mix level)
