Ah Ive loved the German NYE parties ever since I discovered them yonks ago on dear old Sky analogue 19E

The UK programming was always awful so I went exploring the other channels

My entire addiction with hobby level satellite tv goes back to the German analogue channels on 19E

I didn't see any,but may have missed them,but far more unique were skiers on the slope with flares!

The UK programming hasn't got any better. :-per

Hogmany, the singing shortbread tins on the other channel and a few minutes on BBC or ITV. :-downt Even North Korea is in with a chance of better national coverage.

I somehow think quite much Europeans got their satellite TV interest from German satellite channels. So did I.

I will watch UK midnight and then might get a few hours sleep. BTW, wasn't Rio UTC-2? They are on Daylight Saving Time right now.
