The moon moves up to the left in relation to the horizon, the comet moves up and to the right.

I was driving earlier tonight, and it was cloudy to the West, so no chance to stop off.

It is a disappointing comet so far in the UK.

I managed to see it through the binocs this evening :) :)

Just after 7pm, and 45 degrees below and to the right of the moon. Distances are difficult of course, but if you stretched your arm out it would have been a good handspan away from the moon. Easy through the binocs, although definitely not naked eye before it disappeared behing the local hills.
