Advice Needed Dakar Rally 2019 feeds??

Dakar 1 finally came up within the last hour or so although the lead-in static graphic of the word "Dakar" was very "fuzzy" but the actual video is OK on the TM and the Free Sat 7HD - but the SX88 can't find any signal on the same transponder and TD110 dish (which was not moved in between changing the boxes over!
Now still coming in fine on the TM 5402M3, the Free Sat 7HD and the OpenBox V8 - but the bloody SX88 can't see anything on 11047/H/14400 (even after the latest f/w update which the guys on Octagon Forums sent me this afternoon), and so, just when I want to use the SX88 for recording Dakar to HDD, I can't :-doh

The tp is not active at all times, if you look for it when it is not, it is normal, you can not find it.
Create an extra satellite to avoid problems and lose channels.
When the broadcast is finished (it is recording), I will try the SX88 as well.
----
El tp no esta activo en todo momento, si lo buscas cuando no esta, es normal, no lo encuentras.
Cree un satelite extra para no tener problemas y perder los canales.
Cuando termine la emision (esta grabando), probare el SX88 tambien.

Well, the only thing that I can think of is that my particular SX88 must have a very poor tuner as I can get no sign of either feed on that transponder (although it does seem to find quite a few other channels on 10E) - whereas the other 3x receivers have little or no trouble in receiving the Dakar feeds!

Check the internal connection of the antenna connector, lest it is loose.
The external connector F goes to pressure with the internal metallic box (ground) and you may have problems feeding the LNB.
To look/disassemble, screw under the 4 rubber feet.
Remove the nut from the F connector and see what I said.
This position under pressure if more, a friend let go and I could not put pressure.
I put another soldier from an old receiver.
--------

Many thanks and I'll take the SX88 apart in the next few days to see if that might be the issue.

Just taken the SX88 apart to have a look at the tuner module area:
- Soldering of both the centre contact and the shell of the connector to the PCB seem OK (no sign of dry joints)
- however, the connector body was only attached to the PCB and not also to the tuner can, and so the connector could easily be "wobbled" a bit, which is not good! So I soldered a link between the two and that stablised the connector.

Now back in one piece and waiting to see if/when it shows any sign of picking up the Dakar transponder.
