So, how many hours have you (make that we) spent to justify a £25 multiswitch ?

Too many to count, but a learning experience, which is always very useful for future jobs.
From this I have ended up (indirectly) buying a new meter, Satlook Micro G2, which will be of more use than the Lacuna I had at the time, and a distrust of Triax multiswitches, (probably undeserved) and a determination to get it right first time next time, so thanks for all the help and pointers from this forum. I am still mystified but the customer has no complaints, so it must be working ok, despite the problems...
