I'm in the Edision Club now.
Mines arrived! really nice looking box, remote is nice quality too and the box feels lightening fast.
Just need to find some firmware now

I wonder if there is any way to enable "Features" on this rather than flash some custom firmware. On the Octagon SX88 it's the old 6363 code but doesn't do anything on this...

It doesn't do 4:2:2 directly, I can check if it will stream it to VLC if that helps?

Didn't expect 4:2:2 but 16apsk is important. I would have thought as it can do multistream, it would be daft it can't do 16apsk.

Pardon my ignorance, where will I find 16apsk, Is this a DVB-S2X thing?
I can have a look on a transponder and the settings on the box. I know its not S2X however.

Let me know what Satellite/transponder is broadcasting a 16APSK feed and I'll test it now...

I don't think DVB-S2X is a requirement. However, my Zgemma H7 (with DVB-S2X & multistream) picks 16APSK up where my Edision OS+ Mini doesn't. If someone provides the feed details and I input them into my Zgemma, it clears fine. However, IT DOESN'T SUPPORT BLINDSCAN so I am reliant on others. If the Primo can handle both 16APSK and blindscan, this would be great and save me having to get an expensive TBS card or stick. If you check the listing sites for some of the permanent data feeds and try to scan those in, if it picks up these it should work for feeds as well. Thanks.

If you can give me a Sat/Transponder/Freq I'll check it.

Actually, finding a transponder to test on is proving difficult. Could I trouble you to blindscan 37.5w and let me know the frequencies it finds. Thanks a lot.

There are no programs in 16 APSK, there are only feeds.
You just have to be lucky to find one.
There is no reason that the IP S2 primo edision can not read the 16APSK,
the Octagon sx88 can read it, and since both receivers are twin brothers .......

I'll probably go and order one shortly. Just one more thing, how good is the blindscan in terms of speed and accuracy? The scan that my OS+ Mini does is fast and does seem to pick up most things (just not the 16APSK!!!)

Thanks. Not sure whether to trust the Flysat list with hindsight so probably not the best satellite to search. Nevertheless, with the info from other posters, I will probably take the plunge at the price because it's other features are all very useful!!!

It will stream 4.2.2 to VLC on an android device, I tried it on Saturday, yet to confirm on the PC.

It seems quite a few people have a Primo as well as an SX88

That's what I get with the SX88.
Black screen, recording, and later with a video player (VLC) what can be seen.
