Hearing through the grape vine that the power levels for tonight's jury rehearsal will be a lot lower than Monday

Looks like the booming signal may have been a cock up by the OB trucks!

Oh really? See I only just had lock and it broke up a bit last night when it started to rain here.

Hopefully it'll just be the jury rehearsal with lower signal and the actual semi final again tomorrow will be stronger.

See I'd prefer the other way around personally! Having access to the rehearsal that's being sent out to the juries excites me! BBC Four had the main show dogless yesterday.

That is true!

If the signal is weaker tonight it's only marginally so. I'm still getting lock with a little breakup (which could be because my dish isn't bang on aligned).

It is quite overcast here and I think if it was a bit clearer that could make all the difference. As soon as there was any rain last night it was breaking up every second.

Yep I noticed a drop in signal also on my 80cm.

Monday & Tuesday - 63-60% SNR
Wednesday - 58-56% SNR

We have thick cloud forecast here on Friday night so I'm hoping with that weaker signal I don't lose it completely

Yeah unfortunately just after I posted that my signal dropped a few SNR percent from ~55% down to 50-51 which was too low to keep the picture.

On my PC Card 54% seems to be the magic number for no breakup, and I was getting around 60% on Tuesday after tweaking the alignment (I checked it again after if broke up last night and it was the best it could be).

Fingers crossed tonight will have clear skies!

Yep, everything will be encrypted this year.

The back up feed on 10E "ESC-2A" was booming in signal earlier. Even caught it on my 80cm at 63%
i don't have a clear view for 7e :( It would be great to watch it just from the source signal.
Which encryption are they using? Bi**? Con**? Ir****?

Looks like they've weakened the main feed even more on 10E. Getting lower dB on my 80cm by the day despite clear skies.

Monday: 63-60%
Tuesday: 63-60%
Wednesday: 58-56%
Tuesday: 51-49%

At this rate I won't be able to lock it for the final!

With hand sign language during the intro, go figure, deaf watching the E.S.C.

Now Emmerdale is over, had to re-check this frequency, and they are still doing sign , to the songs????

Even BBC Four is struggling, there's been a few picture/sound breakups!

Had a break in the program SWMBO is watching, so checked BBC 4 V 7E, 10969 V 4936, same song, different angle, and with sign!

Get ready for another drop in signal tonight :(

If any kind soul is lucky enough to receive tonight's jury rehearsal, I am eager to obtain a copy of it as I don't think my 80cm will have much luck locking it tonight. Gutted actually as tonight's show was the one I was most looking forward to capturing this week :(
