I'm aligned on 7°E now but I'm not picking anything up on any of the frequencies mentioned in the past few days by Satelliweb. 10998V seems to be fluctuating on the SNR scale on the DM500HD but there's no lock. No sign of anything on the others.

Can anyone confirm that any of the feeds are currently active?

No, I didn't but that means I'd have to realign again. :D If I don't hear anything in the next hour or so about a 7°E feed then I'll try 10°E and if that doesn't work then sod it, the dish'll be going back to Astra 1/Hotbird.

That's useful to know fergyc, thanks. I'll try those on Thursday then - luckily I've got one more 'trial run' before Saturday. :D

As usual there are numerous international channels taking the programming & I'll be screencapping them on Saturday.

On BBC3 I REALLY want to slap that irritating trollop Sarah.

Me too, loads of people seem to love her but I can't be doing with her.

There's a discussion going on on the official Facebook page with Americans asking where they can watch the contest on Saturday - they seem to reckon ERT World isn't showing it this year.

I'm wishing I'd watched this via satellite now as the BBC HD picture via the c word that we don't mention here is diabolical whenever there's rapid movement!

Id be surprised if ERT World dont take the coverage.

However any major international psb/governmental stations on their systems are worth checking - even Belarus are getting into the act on their web stream, just a shame the video quality is abysmal!

Had another try for 10°E last night with no luck. :(

I think the 60cm dish is just too small unfortunately. Nonetheless I'll try again tomorrow evening just in case, but I'm not too hopeful.

It's annoying as I really wanted to make a recording of the clean HD version. :D

I'm so glad I'm not the only one.....

(I'd really like a Moldovan pointy hat too...for walking the dogs in the Winter...)

Yeah, sorry. I only just get it. If it rains then I'll lose it.

The main problem for me is getting a decent 4:2:2 codec. Elecard has a dodgy picture when there's movement, DScaler can't handle it and Etymonix, which is the best, isn't free! Mind you the trial's left me impressed so I might buy it if it proves to be viable.
