Dreadful crash in third practice in Sochii for Carlos Sainz Jr, session abandoned. No idea of his health following this as the car has no electrical systems hence no communication with the team, we can only pray he is OK

update: Carlos extracted from car and gives thumbs up from the stretcher into the ambulance...

Replays show a very fast impact - and a very fast reaction from a mashall rushing to get out of the way behind the barrier!!!

Mind you , it does not look as bad as this one from this years Bathurst meeting... they say at about 300kmph, after a tap from his brother, just a few broken ribs...

People asking "where were the marshals"? Well apparently they were still running for their lives as the car landed on their marshals post!



Even more lucky these marshalls earlier tihs weekend...

Laminas 1.2M fibre dish with an IBU, on a Clarke Tech USALS motor, covering 57E - 24.5W to an Octagon SX88. Displayed on a 20" Dyon LED TV.

Seperate 80 cm dish on 28E with a Humax Freesat for SWMBO.
Free Sat V8 meter. Sony Bravia 46" LCD, Sony BluRay and Home Cinema.
