As I promised a while ago, I made a video with the addition of a scalar ring on my gibertin 150-ku band. I am satisfied with the results and mainly I have an improvement of the signal on the Clark path.

It would be interesting to see this across a range of frequencies on weaker/borderline satellites. Strong signals are already strong, so not very interesting to see :)
 
I agree with you. My time is very limited, but when I have the opportunity I will do a couple of frequencies.
 
I’ve made some quick tests with this kind of scalar ring ( Laminas 150, LNB black ultra):
Eshail 1 @ 25.5e 76% (70% without)
Eutelsat 8W 70% (69% without)
 
In the main, you have to play with scalar and test it. The results are not everywhere better, but not worse either. I hope to find some free time to delve a little deeper into the testing by satellites and draw a conclusion of improvements, or better results using the same.
