Yes the LNB is set correctly as you suggested, not sure what you mean by the fault might be with the receiver (I do have another receiver I could try out).I think the fault may be with the TM Nano SEM2 plus receiver do you have any other receivers that you can try ?
Also double check that the Lnb is set to 9750/10600 & not 9750/10700 or 9750/10750 as these can be confusing if not clearly defined on your receiver but only the 1st one should be selected.
Thanks again for the swift reply and I will try a different receiver and get back tomorrow, thanks again I am now going to celebrate with my wife as she has just been awarded a PhD from University of Nottingham. Then I strongly advise that you try another receiver.
Please could I get an idea about
what FTA channels can we hope to catch from Hellas sat's new bird? and from the previous ones if any?
Thank you and kalinichta!
Good morning, I have tried a new receiver today, and I can lock onto the vertical polarisation TP frequencies as expected.
So is the TM Nano faulty? because I can lock on and watch the same channels but on a horizontal polarisation?
Please could you explain what a 'feed' is/ Thank you
That explains a great deal, thank you, I do have both requirements so I will give it a go.A feed is a live event transmitted from a SNG "Satellite News Gathering truck", this is a truck with a large satellite dish on top,
These feeds can be found on certain satellites such as 16 east,10 east,7 east & 1 west ect ect
FlySat Eutelsat 10A Feeds you will need a 80 to 100 cm satellite dish to receive them & a receiver capable of a Blind Scan to find them.
More info can be found here FlySat Sat List
So thank you again, my experience with both the supplier as well as Technomate is shall we say, ... not very successful, so regarding a different image, by that do you mean an update to the latest version or going to a completely different image?. Presently I am on OpenVix but not the latest version.!Your receiver maybe faulty or require a different image to overcome this problem,
Ring the supplier of your receiver & explain your problem to see if they can assist,
Alternatively ring Technomate:-

Linux receivers are notorious for these sorts of problems that is why I do not use them.
