Here is a link to the cahors one (100cm):
or the gibertini SE professional 100cm.

Price not issue similar prices. Which is best is there a easy way to protect the nuts and pieces against rust, are they likley to last and perform the same 10 years down.
I heard a lot about channel master but I don’t want the hassle and I only have just received permission for 1M with post inspection.
which would you likely pick and why?

Any advice is helpful, thank you.

I, personally, prefer fiberglass dishes as they stay in shape better than metal ones. If you change all nuts&bolts to stainless steel they will never rust, this is the best way of protection. And finally, if Gibertini says 100cm, that does not really means that working area of the dish is 100cm. Most likely it is only 97cm. At the same time if Cahors says 100cm, that could mean antenna's working area (horizontal size) is only 90cm. So, you better check those parameters before buying. Antenna with wider working area will give you better performance.
BTW, used 1m Channel Master antenna has exactly 1m working area, can cost you 10x less than the new antenna.

Thank you that is very helpful I would love used 1M channel master just I tried looking and only finding a used 1.2.
I see what you mean also as the Cahors says
  • Height - 103cm
  • Width - 90cm
Shame there aren’t many fibre glass ones around anymore at 100/ manufacturers vary so much but I think I may go for the gibertini after a week more trying and look out for a sell later on then I can see if there is a notable difference as I like the fibreglass pros more, till then the gibertini will suffice for a while. Thanks.
