possibly rolfw but iam all out of ideas, I dont know what the clearance has to be but there is a tree about 5m away slightly higher than the hieght of the dish then backing on to that is a house at about 10m away.

You think its worth the job rolfw?

Im not a huge fan of sticking it on the chimney because if i need to make any adjustments its going to be a massive pain in the arse. But if its the only way then so be it!!!!

Just a thought, have you tried the card in another receiver to see if you can get the channel?
There may be a fault with it, they are always having faults...might save a trip up the chimney!

Unfortunately I dont have another receiver to test the card. Need art sports before saturday!!!!!!!!

Just getting my channels back now, I just can't see me getting 12015 ever!!!!

Just got back from my tinker and would you believe it...............its still not working. Iv got enough signal strength to stop it saying "searching for signal" and the signal bar is now yellow instead of blue (which is good).

Does the card take time to kick in or something??

Just had my tinker the signal for 12015 is lookin healthy, healthy enough to get rid of the searching signal message anyway. Only thing is all Im getting on art sports 1 is a blank screen!!

Is there anything I can do?

You probably need to leave the card in the receiver on that channel for a while and of course make sure that it is the right way up. ;)

If it doesnt kick in within a couple of hours ring your supplier and see if the card has been activated

Mark the new points you have set - just in case the dish moves in the future in stormforce winds. A few minutes with a pot of paint ot tippex could save you muchos pain and frustration in the future.

Well it certainly isn't activated, most do it automatically, mine actually shows the dates, where yours shows No. - Start - End - Class - Theme - Level.

You may well need to phone your guy then.

Worth checking once again that the card is in the correct way up, the chip should be on the side the pins/contacts come from when looking inside the slot
