Hi Brunswick

I am having the same problem as you with D+ keys. I updated my T-Rex Cam to Pred 3.56 Feb27 yesterday and everything was then available. Today D+ disappeared and I found new k*ys were available as Llew mentioned, which I entered manually. But still won't bring D+ stuff back. Is this a common thing to get unworking k*y updates until the Pred is next updated?

It seems reasonable to assume that both you guys have old k*ys (although in Brunswick's case it may be more complicated).

Barrykap, I'm watching D+ channels now with Pred 3.56 and the latest k*ys.

Not being funny, but may I suggest you check your file again?

Hi Llew,

File is correct if you are refering to the latest (27 Feb) Pred. The CI-module menu is slightly different now from 3.56 as there is no Pr*m listed in aladin and the Menu items for aladin are; D*g*tal+ N2, TV C*b* N2, P*ls*t, unknowm, then about five 'empty'.

I have just re-entered the k*ys again into 01-0 and 01-1 aginst D*g*tal+ N2 but still no joy on TQ etc. Am I doing something else wrong? As you know I am still a newbee here :-)

Thanks.

Don't know what version of Pred you're using, but my 3.56 has D +, C*bo, P*lsat and P*remiere listed in Oh!Aladin.

In any case, latest D + k*ys go in 00-0 and 01-0 (As at 02/03/07).

Hi Llew, As I said I am using version 'Pred 3,56 Feb 27' obtained from here; _http://www.laurals.com/dragon.htm If you look at the top of the downloads list there are three updates for the k*ys. I have been using these. I don't know of any other source for the file and k*ys as I just found this site via Googling. Regards, Barry. ps. I have just noticed on this site that the k*ys are now shown for 00-0 and 01-1 but yeserday they were as I said 01-0 and 01-1. I still have a hard copy of them. So there must have been a mistake yesterday which they have now corrected? Will I now need to reload Pred to correct the (incorrectly) changed k*ys do you know?

No mistake, they changed them midday yesterday (bottom row). They were the ones I was referring to.

Just change them in your existing Pred.

Hi Llew, Before I read your reply I reloaded Pred and re-entered them as per the present info and it worked straight away. I am positive there was a mistake though, although I only have this hard copy print as proof! I did them yesterday morning, so could have been corrected immediately after. Anyway it's all working now so alls well that ends well etc :-) Cheers. Barry. Ps. Sorry about direct site ref. Didn't know.

OK Barry, I stand corrected if that's the case, as I wasn't aware of any earlier version , just downloaded the later one.

JKF seem on the ball with k*ys, that's where I usually end up at.

Happy viewing, Llew

I have bouhgt TF7700 last week and found it better than Humax HDCI-2000. Even SD channels are better now. Setup took hardly 10 minutes and its fantastic.

I dont like the look of the receiver and the remote's tiny keys otherwise it is brilliant.

Hi good2talk.

Is the TF good at searching for new channels? I cannot recall if it has blind search or not, but if not, can you easily add a TP and search on it? The Humax at present will not save any user-defined entries incl new satellites. Does the TF have good user-define options?

Thanks

Cheers.

There is no "Blind Search" but it gets all the channels when Auto Scanned including those missing in HDCI-2000. If you read my other threads you will find I had difficulties with Humax. TF7700 got all channels with minimum efforts. Adding new transponder is very easy; please look the image I have attached herewith.

Thanks Good2talk.

Looks very easy. Presume they are in fact 'saved' OK,? As Humax indicates it DOES save what you enter but in actual fact doesn't!

I'll persevere til the next firmware update (if they issue one!) and see if it is improved before getting a TF.

Cheers.

Barry.

just got digitalb sports package using with conax cam. Premium 1-5 are just showing 'This channel is scrambled or not available'
The CI shows the card activated, spoke to the supplier who said it was a known problem with the HDCI2000 and Humax has sorted this out.
i can't see any reference to this problem on the humax site, does anyone know about this??

currently using firmware HDXSCI 1.00.07

Hi B_o_B
Have you uploaded a recent channel list? if not it's probably a good idea to do so as the Humax has a tendancy to "hide" a lot of channels....also sometimes it takes a while for the chosen channel to actually appear on the screen..sometimes as much as 20>30 seconds in my case anyway.
cheers

i did a rescan for these channels earlier and found them o.k., i left it on one of the channels all day and it still shows the same, the promo channels are showing fine and even the movie channels are showing fine. it's just these HD sports channels i'm having the problem with.

Just got off the phone to Humax tech support...

if you have a Humax HDCI you cannot currently watch Premium 1-5 channels from Digitalb, there is a problem with the datastream from Digitalb. Humax are working on the problem and hope to have a software fix within the next two weeks. They have already sent me their latest software but according to the engineers it's a bit hit and miss at the moment and can actually force you to reset your receiver back to default. Make sure you have all your prestored channel lists saved to a pc first so you can easily restore.
i will post further news here unless someone beats me to it :)

i just got a beta release from Humax and it works.

looks like your file is the same beta release but it has been renamed on the 'pl' site for some reason.

your version is probably o.k. but i sent it to Humax enginneers to see what differences (if any) there are because they say the file was renamed and that usually means more changes have been made?

will get an answer in a couple of days. at least it's working now:) saved me a few bucks on a new box.

have installed your version? does it work also?
