ITV HD Humax HDCI-2000

have made some progress since last posting.

Humax eventually got back to me stating that there were some system files missing in the Windows environment and after a Google search on the system error produced two search results (the first being this post) I managed to get the correct system files and open Formula! Hurrah!

After a getting a serial cable yesterday and not managing to do anything I returned it for a Null modem cable and managed to upload my channel list in 30 minutes. I didn't realise how slow and unresponsive Formula was and any clicking would take at least five minutes to give a response. After much frustration, many ctrl+alt+dels, a shut down and reboot, Formula was 'less unresponsive' and would respond after a minute after clicking and I chose to go with the 'click and paste' option from the Freesat zip file of the ITV HD line to my saved list however, upon pasting the frequency would be completely different and the Provider showed up as Globecast. Right clicking and changing the frequency and Provider to the correct values, 11426(=)27500 & Arqiva, took a couple of minutes and downloading back to the Humax, another ten seconds and there we have it; itv hd!!! Well, currently unavailable so the sound cannot be checked but banner shows a Dolby soundtrack so that is a good sign but it is there!!! Now, for something to watch! Thank you and everyone in the forum for their stories as they gave an all round perspective of anything and everything encountered in trying to watch itv hd!

Thanks to everyone, especially Llew. Having been advised how to open the fdf file in this forum, all has gone well. I now receive the itv hd "This service is currently unavailable". As far as I can tell next Thursday at 9pm there is a simulcast of a new series "Harley Street" so we can see if fully operational then.

Running release 16 firmware and have set PMT PID to 8192 as suggested above, but still get the 10 second bump. Perhaps it's something to do with HDMI, has anybody tried component?

No difference using component. Any delay in picture appearing on HD is normally down to video processing time lag.

Well tuned into 'Harley Street' and it all worked, but apart from the ads was that supposed to be HD?

Also noticed about three glitches in vision just towards the end of the programme, which of course took some 10 seconds for the sound to recover each time. Anyone else notice the same?

Does anybody know why when I upload the file from the Humax using formulae, and waiting for it to finish, (about 20 mins) there is nothing in the editor?

I think the next hd broardcast will be on Thursday at 9pm Harley Street , they are slow to put stuff on , hope this will change soon .

ITV HD works well on my two HDCI-2000 (thanks to this forum). It worked also on my Technisat DigiCorder HD S2. Since about 3 weeks I have no more sound on my Digicorder. Can anybody help?

By the way, I think the the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 have the best programs in all of Europe.

I've just configure my hdci2000 to receive ITV HD but at the momemt (~10pm on 8/9/08) I'm just getting a blank screen when I select ITV HD. Is this what I should expect if ITV are not transmitting a program on the HD channel?

Usually there's an ITV HD info card when no programmes are on. (Haven't checked recently though).

yes have a look at post 121 above from unicorne good screengrabs of the holding page showing as at 9.30 tonight for sure after the Children finished in HD

Does anyone know what the new password is?

Change your password by going to the Hidden Menu -

-Menu
-System Status

Hit the Red - Green - Yellow - Blue - Yellow - Green - Red buttons.

I am trying to update my Brothers Humax so he can get ITV HD
He has a motorised system Di secq 1.2, it is set up for Astra 1 Astra 2 and the hotbird. The question is can I use your may motorised list that you very kindly posted on here.
