As for my dish I think i will check it first and maybe upgrade my lnb to a 0.1db (if u can get them?).

Good for you m8 !!! In Itay many people can't get the upgrade after having paid it upfront...included my father :mad:.

Actually I got another news: no Viacess cards anymore....in the future only in Irdeto...so let's be happy if we can keep on watching Aljaeera sport channels until the expiring date;).

Regarding your sat-system upgrade, it looks like you don't dare to re-align the dish...changing the lnb's won't bring you big quality improvements;)

as u say I am not keen on attempting to move my dish myself, so will have to get somone to do it for me.
The strength for all TP's is around 88 to 90% but its the quality I need to improve as it sits around 65 to 68%. think I need to start a new thread for this if im going to start asking more questions

Glasgow is a bit far away for me otherwise I would come to align your dish. ;)...

I agree with you in opening a new thread about that or first with the botton "search", try to obtain some info about quality % in your area ;)

You won't believe it: there is message in Arabic on the Al Jazeera channels saying, hopefully the translatore is wrong, the owners of the cards with only 4 channels must do the upgrade or they will get only AlJazeera+1 and 2+.....NOT even +3 and 4+ anymore....

Now I should upgrade mine and I don't mind because, for that price, the offer is still very impressive but what about if I don't get the upgrade ? My father is still waiting for:mad:

by an Arabic shop I paid for me father's one 71 dollars...here in Europe I have heard much more.

What is really frustrating is why some cards don't get the upgrade...they work perfectly

Edit: 71 dollars and 6/7 months extra...not bad at all!

One basic question.Does someone here bought the Aljazeera Card,opened only JSC Sports +1.+2+3+4? .I would like to open the other channels even if i have to pay.But i dont know how i can do that.I bought my card in ebay for 80 pounds.
Does someone did that ?

here is the one i´m using lately _http://www.jsccards.com/ar/ ,simply great before i used ADM but i had to wait days and sometimes a week to reactivate a card ,with the new one only 1hour (day time) after paypal payment on top the guys calls you from Qatar by phone to reconfirm the card number and thank you for the payment ,check it out you wont be desapointed...cheers

you know what? I really thank you because you brought a sensible topic on this matter: I'm one out 10 persons who renewed the viaccess card (to 8 channels) on the JSC web site. When we look at the rights it is correctly activated for the 8 channels but in reality we can't watch not even the 2 or 4 like before paying Al Jazeera. We are sending e-mails, faxes e making phone calls in Qatar in order to solve the problem. Are you aware of that problem? Any solution? We also tried to re-send the signal on our cards but nothing...frustrating !!!

aparently they have a bug in viaccess system when reactivated with a new upgrade they just add class 25(in viaccess terms) when it should add another class 255 with the same expiry date ....i´m in contact with them my self ..a solution should be out soon ...regards

thanks for keeping me posted...I just would like to inform you that tonight or tomorrow night something should happen because one of my 6 expiring dates is 30/09...I will keep the receiver on from 21.00 (NL time) because it will be midnight in Riyadh ;) (+ 3 hours) .

Why don't you do the same?

...no problem but I did all kind of tries...even putting the card in th e diablo 2.3...nada de nada:mad:...it is blocked and they are the onlu one's who can fix it:mad:

PS could you please explain a bit more the sentence " i´m in contact with them my self ..a solution should be out soon ..."...? what do they have in mind for fixing the problem?

my mate from lybia has just brought in a lot of al jazeera cards to sell - they already have the +1-+8 channels on them - but the suprising thing is that they are for hotbird

but are iredeto cards not viaccess!

they work perfectly!

Interesting, I have 2 "Nilesat" jsc 1-8 cards. One is working on a Hotbird satellite no problem. The other sold to a friend using it for cardshare but having problems sharing it on Nilesat but working okay on Hotbird.
