Yeah..its not universal..

When i went to order it.. i asked for one (lnb) that It would get the spanish channels on astra.. but when the spanish package closed down.. i turned to hotbird...!

If the lnb is not the problem... whats the problem!???

1,80m dish and not multivision 8? A friend of mine has 1,65 and gets it!!

Help please~

Its Non-Universal! something like normal..

For most transponders on astra.. i have 70strength 99quality
For the frequency 10911 i have 65 with 51..and nothing... Can it be the lnb the problem?

I hope thats the answer!

OK, we'll forget bout the LNB for the moment, as there is really no such thing as a "normal" LNB, the vast majority now sold for Ku Band reception are Universal, ie they have two frequency bands, switched by a 22Khz tone. But the main question is whether you can receive the Low band frequencies?

Can you receive all of the channels on
Frequency:10949
Polarity: V
Symbol Rate: 27500
Error Correction:3/4

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

When the Spanish package first came out on Hispasat, the channels were all in the upper band, and more importantly they were polarised in LHCP and RHCP.

There is a good chance the LNB will not receive the full satellite transponder listing without a larger dish

The next best bird is 1W, but I don't think you'll get that either. I'm not an expert in dish sizes where you are (or anywhere else for that matter!), but if you can get a reasonable signal from other transponders on 13E, then you must be in with a chance of getting Mult!vis!on.

If your m8 gets MV on a 1.65M dish, that must surely give you some hope?

I would very strongly advise a rescan of ALL related transponders, as I suspect that there may have been some subtle changes in the last few days. I certainly lost them and got them back with a rescan yesterday.

If you check out the L.J,s LIVE football site it gives you a list of all the games which are on,and there is a lot,its really good value.

It's a standard or also called "normal" LNB that works on one narrower frequency band so you don't need 22kHz switching signal.

Standard LNBF 11.7-12.2GHZ.................L.O. = 10750
Universal 10.75-12.2GHZ.......................L.O.=09750(no 22khz tone)
........................................................L.O.=10600 (with 22kz tone)

I'm well aware of the different types of LNB nasko, but it will not be an LNB with a LO of 10.750, as the poster can receive transponders at 10,950, which would be impossible with an LNB of that type, this information available if you read the whole thread.

I, along with the others, was trying to determine exactly what the LNB was, there are also LNBs with a LO of 11Ghz, 10Ghz and 9.750Ghz, all considered standard at their time of manufacture.
