thanks have now done that, now i get the following errors

root@vuduo4kse:~# dvbsnoop -s ts -b 103 | python3 uecp.py 103
Error(16): /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0: Device or resource busy

root@vuduo4kse:~# root@vuduo4kse:~# dvbsnoop -s ts -b 103 | python3 uecp.py 103
root@vuduo4kse:~# Error(16): /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0: Device or resource busy
-bash: syntax error near unexpected token `16'

Finally managed to take a look at this, sorry I forgot about it for a while! - unfortunately using the box to watch/listen to a channel does use the frontend so you can't use dvbsnoop at the same time. dvbsnoop works if you're in the "signal finder" menu instead of tuned to a channel though, I think because it's just checking the signal level and lock rather than actually taking over the tuner frontend to stream a channel, which only one thing can do at once.

Good Evening,

Happy New Year !

I tried to receive the Dutch radio channels with low SR, but if around late December it seems a good reception for Joe FM during the Holidays I was not able to receive any signal despite the correct position of my dish. I couldn't receive Sky Radio or Radio 10.
Please could you send me some help for receiving better ?
Thank you.

Good Evening,
I'm coming back-up with an issue related to this type of channels. Today I was able to scan after a while Joe FM, but when I tried to scan for Sky FM I lost any Dutch radio channels and I can not figure out what is happening. It is not a singular situation for those channels.
I'm using now an Octagon 8008 Supreme.
Thank your for your support.

I'm coming back-up with a request. Joe FM and Radio 538 are no more on 16 east ? For a while I'm not able to lock this two channels.

I managed to lock those ones a couple of weeks back, but it's very tricky.

This was sent to me (as attachment) so looks like we have lost yet another from satellite transmission.

Also not been able to see 'Joe FM' on 12567 H 405 of late!

Almost certain has gone to streaming like others have. :-ohmy

Perhaps others here can check satellite reception, thanks.

Just taken a look myself for those low s/r radio stations. They have gone! In fact there's nothing between 12543H and 12674H here in the west of the UK. Around 11054H I see one signal at around 176s/r and only two at around 365 sr. That's on the HD ranger.

Joe FM and Radio 538 are still present .....................
Thanks for your post and now knowing it is still lockable I decided to wait until early morning for another crack at this.
Success was obtained using the config:

1.8m Marrafa PF----Inverto C120 Quad Flange-----Octagon Sf8008 V3 SUPREME Twin
11055 H 355 DVB-S

I confess I had to wait some 20mins before a screen capture lock was possible.

The proverb 'Patience is a virtue' comes to mind!

Thank you all for help.

All three streams still here as before (see my post #103)

12.538,5 H Joe FM Vlaanderen (SID 25599)
12.539 H Q-Music Vlaanderen (SID 21438)
12.539,5 H Q-Music Amsterdam/Nederland (SID 21411)

Additionaly ... for those who want to listen to this on E2 receivers ... some "manipulation" is needed.
Since these three streams are so close together and use almost identical modulation parameters, the tuner isn't able to "distinguish" between them easily. Hence it is necessary to add some extra parameters in the lamedb, here example for Joe FM audio (c:01006f) & PMT (f:4).
