Not to happy today, tried setting the thing on the arc, and can't for some reason gets signal at all.

The problem seems to be caused by the back plate of the motor, it's so sloppy.

Will have another go tomorrow.

When you say sloppy do you mean the worm drive? If you remove the top cover this can be tightened easily.

It's not the worm gear that's sloppy it's adapter plate.

As the dish wobbles, the top and bottom arm from the motor moves in opposite directions.

I will try and get a video tomorrow, to show what I mean.

Yeah I found the same thing installing it on a 1.2m Channel Master - too floppy.

Evan did quite a few reinforcements of the plate and the elevation adjustment mechanism. The other thing that's poor is the grip of the main clamp of the pole. There are only a few teeth to grip it... (ooerr).

This motor should never have been released into production and in my opinion is not fit for purpose (out of the box without heavy mods)...

The bottom motor arm is also starting to bend slightly upwards:(

In my opinion the top and bottom motor arm should also have a brace across them.

I Had one of these when i had my 1.2 CM, tbh i had a nightmare with it, the top and bottom arms didnt fit properly because they were twisted coming out of the motor. I was glad to see the back of it really. I admire your persistance.
