m8, I have just checked my db500 on MV and getting 85% and 76%AGC and not a single BER.
This is on a triax64cm dish.

Have you checked cable at the F connectors ?

Make sure no braid is in contact with the copper in the middle.

I think you should also look at replacing your db7000 or at least like mentioned try a new image.

Regarding the cm120 dish, you will see a big difference than the dish you replaced.
It just needs to be setup right.

Cheers

OK m8, so you have sorted it now ?

regarding feedhorn, I got it from another member called Snap of here and two days later I got another one from the USA which I ordered over 3weeks before and thought it would never come.

I also have a new inverto c120 if interested.

Not trying to flog you any gear but honestly to get the most out of your CM then it is a must you use the matched feedhorn.

update.

i have tried to tweak the dish and have come to the conclusion that it must be the dreambox that is giving me a problem
i have connected my samsung to the dreambox using loop through and the samsung is able to pick up multivision with no problems and gives a good signal.
the two receivers are now side by side so both using the same dish same cable and same lnb

but seeing we are soon to loose multivision it not to much of a problem
thanks to all those who tried to help

@abr1
Your cable is resonating with the Dreambox input stage at the resulting IF frequency (1912mhz) corresponding to Multivision (11662mhz).

I have had the same problem and it was sorted out by changing the cable, to any other cable, not necessarily a better one.

Try autoupdating with Ushuaïa tv. and using Cccam 2.0.8 on your actual version of Gemini.

@ Keano
I need a CM corrugated feedhorn and an Inverto flange version if they are still there.
Looking through the throat of the feedhorn, do you see a circle or a rectangle?

i am indeed using ccam 2.0.8 the problem i had was not the autoupdating but receiving enough signal to get a picture
i have tried it this morning after further adjustments of the lnb and now getting 64% enough to get a picture

with regards to the feedhorn i have sent Keano a PM a week ago
i am very interested and awaiting his reply
many thanks for the input m8
