Don't see why not. The closer to equator you are, the wider the arc you get.

Can't recall the exact hardware limits of Motecks and their clones, but I think with the set screws at max. it's 70 deg each way, so 140 deg of rotation. I set mine at 60, which is mechanically conservative and also sufficient for the visible arc at my Latitude.

You are lucky these trees don't block Hispasat, but I don't think you can go any further. Perhaps try 34.5W 11557H with the Televisa channels, this TP is very strong.

I drove the motor to 70.5 east, to see if the arc is tracking correctly and it isn't. I got 60 east clearing channels, so i have to re-align, zero to 23.5 east gives a small nudge on the motor :(

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

You may find the error is down to the weight of the dish components distorting the motor clamp behind the pole. There is not much you can do except a bit of intuitive realignment of the arc to compensate for the sag.

O.k, i think i found where i went wrong, i thought my zero was at exactly 23.5 east, but it's at 23.0 east, that explains the small nudge :)

A good signal in one direction and nudging in the other suggests it was not solely down to the Longitude setting.

Have you got the same signal measurements at the 60E position after changing the coordinates ?

Honestly though, if you can find a place on your rooftop with a clearer and wider south view, it's best to move the dish there.

I have a tall tree towards the south, so i don't think that is an option.

I did a re-alignment last night, managed to get to 70.5 east, but i could only clear up to 7 east :(
Will try again tonight, i was trying to tweak 28.2 east.

O.k, i finally understood that zero is for alignment purposes only!
I re-aligned dish and managed to get to 34.5 west with signal, still need to move east though.

I moved to 70.5 east and cleared a channel! I did notice some lower readings on 30 & 22 & 15 & 8 & 5 west and 3 & 4.8 & 66 & 70.5 east.
