19.2 east in pictures

This was setup in 2006 by a friend, up till now i was happy receiving 24.5w to 60e.
Just recently i have started to take interest in going beyond, so i haven't tested it yet.

Sounds good. The extremes of the arc is what usually turns out to be the challenges - both because it where any (and there will be) alignment errors becomes most evident, but also because you get things like more atmosphere to traverse, and more obstacles (trees, houses) in the near range...
Looking forward to your reports.

You can go a long way further east (at least with a larger dish). The feeds on 76.5 East are in range and with a bit of tweaking you should get 95E with what you have.

I would like to be close to the dish, so i can observe the movements!!

Anyway, the main reason i haven't gone beyond, is imo that my Amiko receiver had only 30w to 60e programmed, and only satellite 1-7 plus test to play with, and that i am using diseqc 1.2 commands.

I have just successfully moved to 68.5 east, and tuned in some transponders :)

Btw, i did drive the motor to 83 east but nothing found.

All that flat rooftop is crying out for a 3M monster to be bolted too it ;)

Hi, i have retired the Moteck SG2100A after 14 years! It was still working when i decided to see, if i could use usuals on a enigma2 receiver. So i did a factory reset on my Amiko SHD-8360 which i had setup diseqc 1.2, and connected it to my Edision OS Mini 4k. I didn't get usuals working straight off but got it to move using diseqc 1.2, after saving 2 satellites and trying for a third one it moved to an unknown satellite, maybe zero? Anyway after a couple of tries going from diseqc 1.2 and usuals it moved all the way east pass the 80 limit and stopped, i went up to the rooftop and managed to get it back manually to zero after 3 hours of plugging and unplugging the cable, and using the buttons on the motor to get it to move. So i did a reset on the motor and that was it, stuck at zero. So i dismantled the motor and took it down to the receiver, but still no movement, anyway i tried to unscrew the bolt on the axle to open it up, but to much rust on it, so will do that at a later time with some help from a mechanic perhaps :)

I set up the Gibertini OP100L again as a fixed antenna on 13 east and decide to upgrade the plastic lnb holder to a MFK1-49 from the manufacturer, i found one at this link

I'm posting some pictures from the installed product before and after, and also i have orded a new Moteck SG2100A from Greece.

Hi again, the motor arrived today. And is a genuine Moteck! I don't have a proper size allen key, so can't check hardware limits today, manual says factory preset are 70 east - 70 west. I did connect to receiver and manual buttons are working :) So tommorow will go look for allen key and hopefully can set it up with dish. I took some pictures.

Update: I drove the motor to see the limits, moved manually by buttons to west and reached 75 and the red light came on when it stopped. Moved to east and reached 75 also, red light came on. Now from the menu in receiver tried to move back to zero but woudn't responed, so restarted receiver and i had 13 east on dish, it moved automatically to 13 east, i gave a move to zero and it moved. I exited menu and it went back to 13 east again, this is in diseqc 1.2 mode. The built in positons on the motor are the same, 13 east stored as position 1 and in the receiver also. So i think i will try to install as it is currently and don't touch the hardware limits. I will be aligning at 23.5 east as this is my true south and go from there :) Btw, i did these tests from next to receiver with both cables attached, receiver to receiver input and lnb to lnb input on the motor.
