Be1 on most hardware equates to a corrupted firmware, you could try a hard reset which might fix it.

Were you updating the receiver or have you had a power outage ?

Thank you for replying.
Actually I had power outage. I was watching TV and the commercial power suddenly interrupted , then I received the error message in the screen (bE1).
would the hard rest fix it, if yes how to do it correctly.

Hi Dears Experts

Your contributions are highly requested in restoring Humax IR-HD1000/ME .
Any procedure to upload new flash firmware.
I appreciate any helps

Yasir Abuelhassan

You may well find the flash you require is no longer available. That doesnt appear to be a current model and manufacturers often drop support for stuff thats a few years old.

You could try contacting Humax Middle East explaining your problem & see if its available direct from them

This link might give you hope.

There is software for the 2000 floating about, but there is absolutely no guarantee this will fix your receiver.

Go on, you know you want to.

Hi
Channel Hopper
Unfortunately the site in German. I couldn't do anything
Humax Middle east not answer yet.

This site is in English, mostly.

The idea was that there is hope with the firmware of the European machine, though you will have to accept the risk.

I'm almost certain it is available here , somewhere, with an intelligent search.

Hi Channel Hopper.

I failed to get an access to the site (http://colibri.de.ms/ ). I don't know why, may be I'm trying to access it from Sudan. Some sites are inaccessible. Any way I'm keeping trying. Wish me some luck

That is probably a removed site since the link was posted over twelve years back.

Search for the receiver model in the aboove box using Llew as a member, I think he had the Humax you might have success with.

Try this one. Colibri changed site address.

Hi
Llew
WOW. This is interesting, and it is good to work with the experts.
I found PR-HD1000 ,& I guess it is the German equivalent to IR-HD1000. If I'm correct which version of the firmware is suitable

My appreciation is continue.

I've removed your uploaded zip files Yasir, See Forum rules.

I can't advise on firmware at Colibri. I had an HDCI-2000, and firmware there is not compatible with that model.

Hi Llew
Ok I noticed the forum RULE.
But

HDCI-2000 is not available on the website you gave.

Hi Yasir

That's why I can't help with your model. Although the hardware is similar, firmware differences mean any HDF files for the HD1000 series were not of use to the HDCI-2000, except maybe channel lists.

I didn't try any of those files in my (now scrapped) Humax for fear of corrupted data.

Anyway, good luck with your box.

Unfortunately as Ive already said thats an elderly receiver & at some point you will have to decide whether its worth carrying on chasing firmware for what is an obsolete receiver. Or just scrap it and buy a new one.

Appreciated what done so far

There is not much else members can do, take a risk with software from another receiver, what harm can it do ?
