Looks like something thats come off a bookies or a filling station.
or the back of a lorry.
Hughes PES used a 1983 series antenna from memory.
Congratulations Wim, you've got nice Prodelin dish! Even it is round it still an offset, and that is cuz it's face not flat. If you make string test you will see. Mount is typical Prodelin design.Effective dish size 880 mm round , dept exactly in the middle 65 mm , unknown brand just marked 0178-890

And, taking into account it is last day of 2017, what else should I say, something nice ...... the dish is dirty, and you need at least an hour to wash it![]()
This will be interesting... in theory, you shoud be getting less of a signal, as the 0.8 feed will (in theory) be looking at less of the CM than a matched CM feed,Hi Rima , did'nt notice that curved front edge bevor , glad you pointed me to that .
Later this week I will connect that existing lnb to my satmeter , point the dish to a sat and will see whats comming out .
I know its for one polarisation and has restricted band .
Also want to attach that feedhorn to the 1.2 CM and compaire it with other lnb /feedhorn combinations .
That horn has a short neck , so restricted adjustment , maybe even the side rods are in the way .
