Hi all

As the title says. I recently purchased an ultra HD tv. We have a satellite and a really old receiver for Turkish channels, unfortunately, it's so old it uses scart and not HDMI. I purchased an adapter and it's working fine but naturally with really bad quality. We want to get a new box but I have no idea what to get. Essentially anything that will accept Turkish channels, is HD (preferably 4k/ultra HD) and with PVR. Bonus points if it can be purchased online haha.

Thank you.

Thanks for your response. Sorry, that's important, the FTA on 42E for sure.

I think you'll find the Octagon range of receivers are popular with most of the forum members.

Octagon SX88+ will suit your needs or the Octagon SX88 Optima this one has a better handset & is my current favourite :)

With PVR functions do you wish to be able to watch one channel while recording another? Also do you prefer an internal hard disk or is an external drive acceptable?

As the title says. I recently purchased an ultra HD tv.

The TV doesn't have its own satellite tuner?
That might be sufficient...
