I mean:
When I choose with my smartphone a channel that is already ON on the decoder, everything is ok.

BUT if a choose a channel on another frequency or simply a different one, the smartphone/pc can't load it and the decoder shows this new channel with a black screen too. I noticed that the previous channel has a green square on it as it is keeping on streaming by DNLA.

If I RE-select the previous channel, It starts working again....

for me reception satellite is primordial occupation
and it is the party has ameliorate first and foremost when there are problems.

I understand your problem.
It's true that with a relatively small antenna during the blindscan you can find
the frequencies of adjacent satellites.
The Sx88 can do than a full Blindscan, without possibility to limit the search (do not forget that it is a receiver for only € 75)
however we can't go satellites. xml (this receiver is not E2; Fortunately, because he would not likely still have BS)
it takes just to early to do his own frequency list and then put it on a USB memory

Without a program like making a list at will and plugging in via USB memory?

Tried new firmware above.

I had a quick look at the editor on my pc. The program connected to the receiver without problem.

I am having a problem allocating satellites positions on the the positioner. I will have another look at this tomorrow.

It seems that when saving a satellite position on a 1.2 positioner the new firmware wants to save every satellite at position 01 on the positioner!

It is good to see enigma2 type files for the channels, settings, and satellites. I can get these files from the SX88 and transfer them to my computer using ftp. But I cannot send these files back to the box through ftp and have the SX88 recognize them or use them. The SX88 always defaults back to the unedited files after reboot.

That is a nice picture. But like I said back in post #380, I cannot alter the satellites.xml file or any other file and have the box save it. So that feature is pretty useless to me right now.

I did manage to get a satellite list for North America installed using the editor in Windows.

So, it does allow changes somehow. How did you activate the changed satellites.xml, factory reset?

I used DreamboxEdit to transfer the satellites.xml file.
I used telnet to restart the box after transferring the satellites.xml file. The telnet command I used was "reboot".
