Thanks, would that allow connecting multiple sky q boxes off the single lnb too?
 
At least two. I don't know how many times you can amplify and split the cables. There are 16 'bands' on each output, how many bands each Sky Q box requires is another thing I don't know. There are switches with more outputs.
