Hi,
I am new here so apologise if there are more threads on this. I have treid searching.
I am trying to setup Sirius 4. I live in Peterborough and have an 80cm dish. I simply cannot get a signal at 4.8/5 degrees east.
I can get hotbird (13 east) so I know the LNB is working.
Is there a problem with sirius satellie installations. I even got a "pro" round and he could not get the satellite either on his expensive meter. He did say he has had problems with this before.
According to all the maps I have seen, an 80CM dish should be OK. The dish is about 3 meters off the floor and does have to clear a house. But according to dishpointer.com I sould be clearing the house easily. Indeed Sky has to do the same thing and is at a lower elevation.
Any hints / tips on locking onto this satellite.
Thanks in advance
Tony Green
