Hi,
I have a reciever which is compatible with Metabox. It has 1 CAS skycript card reader but no CAM interface. Also it has one USB port & Video Link menu. (It labled as StartSat SR-X290 super, but it is only a pirate lable)
I upgraded it many times with DreamSoft patch with no problem and hardware info @Sat fx-7220 @Sky.
But in last upgared, when restarting, the display showed 'ON' and no more activity.
I tested the flash file for Metabox 3. It restarted but Video Link menu disapeared and no channel search is down.
May anyone help me to solve the problem, please?

Urgently looking for Manhattan Plaza ST 550.

I've read the 1st page, been to the official Manhattan website but they don't have the latest software.

I did an over the air upgrade through hot bird and this loaded the latest firmware. I need to downgrade to the firmware I had before, which was dated 1 Oct 2005.

Is there any sites that have Manhattan Plaze firmwares? Been looking on google and all the links from the 1st page for about 5 hours and can't find anything at all.

many thanks for this very informative website.. i'm new to the satellites world and i find this forum veru very useful. thanks a lot!

i have StarTrack 2004Super receiver which i would like to upgrade.. the PSLoader.exe gives me an error every time i run the loader (COM1 Open Error).. my laptop comes with 3 USB ports, 1 IEEE port, extra VGA port, vedio-out port but "NO" standard serial or parellel ports!!!
On the other hand, the receiver has a USB port, once connected the Laptop recognizes the new added hardware, but the PSLoader.exe won't connect through USB ports. it keeps looking for serial port "COM1".

any idea how to work around this problem? maybe if there's a way to emulate COM1 over the USB connection? as happens with COM Connection over Bluetooth?
or maybe another loader for StarTrack which supports USB? appreciate any referers to any further readings........... thanks a lot guys!
