Tell me about it... The strange thing is that I can find everything for the others FTE. I bought this one because it has 2 CI slots (thinking about probable future 'dark' times...).

Hello ,

I have a magnum 250 revultion . When i enter to scan satellite/tp menu i can scan hotbird1.2.3 913.oe nilesate 101.197.0w
and amos 1,2 4.0w .
I dont know what else details i should give you .

Most of channels are locked with a sign of $$
I dont have any normal channel .All the good channels are locked. I have 1000 channels most of them are locked and most of the channels are in italian and other languages.
The person that set up my satellite gave me the sedit ver 2 program and the patch for my reveiver a file named s103_205b_main.dlp . I updated my receiver using with this patch but it is old patch and didnt unlock any channel .

Can i update my receiver ? I wanted to learn more about all this stuff but there is no any help or guides to read in this site.
So please tell me if i can do something to watch locked channels , or open more channels .
Where do i learn about all this stuff , give me links that explains about what i should know because i dont know where to begin .

If there is no an updated patch for magnum fta 250 revultion receiver, buying an alternate receiver like dreambox will get me more channels and will i find updates to unlock the channels everytime they get locked. You recommend i do so ?

Someone who is trying to understand something ,, and watch some normal channels like a sport channel, besides all this 1000 italian channels

You have to realise that many of the pay tv services are now secure. TPS on 13E is open, along with the multivision movies, although you will need to update keys daily to keep MV open.

You need to find the latest patch for your receiver before you do anything else. Go to page 1 of the thread and see if the rx is listed there. If not use the search facility oin the forum to see if its listed elsewhere.

I' ve got a problem....
I've downloaded the latest software for StarSat SR-X550D Super from "satdw.com" (20051208_silver_SR-X550D_SUPER_V311) and the multivision chanels still don't work...
plz somebody can tell me what is happening???

The Multivision AES keys change daily. You will have to manually update them (every day) even though you have got the latest patch.
