Dear guys,

I have Star Track world in box I. TPS channels, including Multivision 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 are vanished again. I don't know whether it is for me or for everyone. What to do next? Hope anybody will find a positive solution.

I try that too i got the email from starsw that I applied for registration and i have wait for 24 hour for final (verification) email and that happened last week didn`t receive any update email from them at yet. But interesting thing is that they are sending the S/W to dealer for the update becoz as you know that I am having a wrong update pro which I discus with you when I went to the dealer he is having updated version only no one else and there is the request of company name in registration from in starsw web site.
So I think this site is only for dealers or they might be sending the updates through email to the dealers only. But there is a still good resource for star track receivers S/w

AFTER COMPLIMENTS,

I HAVE UPDATED WITH THE LATEST SOFTWARE PATCH IN MY STAR TRACK WORLD IN BOX -I, NOW I'M GETTING POLSAT CHANNELS, BUT ONE OF MY FRIEND HAVING DIFFERENT RECEIVER, I THINK IT IS TECHNOSAT, IN THAT HE IS GETTING POLSAT CHANNELS AS WELL AS DAN CHANNELS (DAN JAYA TV/DAN RAJ TV/ DAN CINEMA ETC.,) WITH THE NEW UPDATED PATCH. JUST LET ME KNOW WHY DAN CHANNELS ARE NOT COMING WITH THE LATEST PATCH FOR STAR TRACK? EXPECTING THE EARLY REPLY.

hi, friends with startrack recievers,

1. can u get full-x channels on hotbird (12577 H) with startrack receivers?

my friend has a mediastar receiver and he can get these channels with his receiver, but i cant with world in box1.

2.about the latest startrack software(03.05.2005)

polsat do autoroll but i meet a small problem. when polsat change keys, i turn my channels to polsat, it will display 'software ugrade', but i will never get polsat unless i turn to another channel such as absat, then turn the channel back to polsat ,it will work.

do u meet the same question?

I have a mate who has startrack superCI and mate who has powersky 8210 and both have the fullx channels, but as i understand it they are only available to for one year (from the time the channels are activated) and then they have to pay for a subscription. Your mate probably has the same thing. You can find out if its official or not by looking if an expiry date appears on the channels when you first go to them or from somewhere in the menu.

Regarding the polsat AU issue, i have the same problem. To clear i have to switch to another channel (different encryption) and then channel will clear. Switching tp standby sometimes works also

I have a star track receiver, i've read all your posts

about this receiver & first of all i wanna thank u. but now

i got a problem in udgarding the boot version off my

receiver. it is (0013.1) & i should upgrade it to 15.1 in

order of using the new patches of this receiver, i found on

http://www.starsw.com/ website. so i need a BUC file.
the Software version of my receiver is: "$STKA4148S841EC" &

i just could find a "S841CISKV_$STK_A4048_20040602_BUCPCn"

on this website. is it possible to use this BUC file for my

receiver? is it match to it? how should i deliver BUC files

to my reciever? because this patch doesn't have any

software like "arion" ,
and after all would u describe what does IRD stand for? &

what does it mean?

yes, u can use the file "841CISKV_$STK_A4048_20040602_BUCPCn" to upgrade ur receiver 's loader , then upgrade software with the latest auc file.

1. Power off receiver.
2. Connect PC and receiver using a serial cable.
Receiver should be power-off state.
3. Execute "ARIONER.EXE"
First, Select proper PORT. ex) COM1 or COM2
4. Click the "Open" button and select "*.buc". (if u cant select .buc file, u need to change open file type to "all files")
Click the "Send program to IRD" button.
Then, typically "Last status" shows message of "Waiting connect request ack".
Now PC are ready to transfer.
5. Power on receiver
upgrade process will be automatically done in a few seconds.
You can see the progress with PC and/or receiver.
