Thought you had persuaded her to give that up as a bad idea?
Are SWMBO and the cool bag not one and the same?

Not the best weather to be moving house in, that's for sure...

And where's all the smilies gone??

I just moved to my new house - way too hot for moving. But better than a cold drizzling rain.

Having had the same hot weather as the UK for the last week (high 20's to low 30's) it's broken tonight with a heavy thunderstorm, hail and torrential rain. The storm cells are heading North so should get over the channel in a couple of hours....

Martin, I could have gone along to the Avranches - Mt St Michel time trial, as it was only 25km west of me but it was far too hot to spectate even then. I don't know how the riders coped, especially during this last week.

SWMBO brought my Tea and Cucumber Sandwiches and reports Lightning and also that Rain has just started.

Yes, it looks like you'll have rumblings pretty well all day (it's eating cucumber sarnies in bed).....

Yay. Some proper rain right now - the steadt stuff that might just soak in to the soil rather than run off.

Champion.

Lots and lots of lightning here at 3am last night and a few rumbles of thunder - were more of "heat lightnings" but were very bright indeed. A little rain but now I am sat in sweat again as it's so humid :(

Paid a visit to someone in Luton last night and from about 11pm onwards noticed loads of lightning out to the south of us but heard no thunder at all and it was dry as a bone all night until we left at around 3am ish

Didn't get any real rain until we hit Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire on the M1

I slept most of today but I know its been a dry/warm one
