No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Perfect time to be buying them, summer's coming (apparently) and people want rid of their bottled gas heaters to make room, either for commercial warehouse space, or for just clearing out the home... :)

I bought it more for a feature, but it will get used and it saves me doing more plumbing, you will see what I am going to do in the coming weeks on the inside, it should look quite impressive when finished,

Hi a bit more cladding done today, just a few easy bits to finish, then a good tidy up inside and start on the floor.

Hi, all the cladding is finished now, I decided to put a stain on it, well it was the wife's suggestion and colour, the front has had two coats and the side one, it looks like its going to need four all in all,

I lowered the pole down to paint and more by luck than judgment the pole is kicking to the left of the summer house, good news, hopefully it will just miss the decking hand rail that will be in front of the SH :)

Hi, managed to get a few joists fitted, I decided to make my own joist hangers, good quality ones are around £4/5 each.

Hi, I managed to get most of the big area joists fitted and bordered today, I need a good tidy up before I carry on, the inside should start taking shape quite quick, the painting/staining as slowed me down and I still have more to do on the outside, £120 stain and varnish ive used up to now, I would have been better building it from brick lol, pictures at the end of todays work.

Hi Martin, flooring looks like it is different colours, by design? or what you had to hand?

Hi, a good tidy up over the last few days, the greenhouse is now a temporary shed, I managed to get the first bit of the shed floor put down and the dish has been evicted, its getting closer to its resting place :).

Is this the " Summer house " heating system? Connected to that burner we saw should be OK for an English summer.
