Hi everyone,

please don’t drop at your knees with this post lol I have read all the info in the previous posts which ended up getting closed down due to people not acting like grownups it seems.

anyway my question is simple (ish) … I have just brought a 5402 M4 and wanted to know two things, how easy is it to add the 7 day EPG for Astra 2 (I don’t own a computer, only laptop) and there is talk the tuner is more sensitive, so will this work slightly better on satellites 7W where etc I just about manage to pull in MBC2.

I get around 80% weather permitting mbc 2 sw uk TD110 dish on 11276 V 27500 on M4, of course it's also down to location and dish size not just tuner.

Epg does itself once connected up.
 
Well on my octagon 88 I got only 33% so just managed to pull it in … I have a 88cm dish though and in east anglia Colchester area so that might have something to do with it … this receiver seems to bring in about 57% but how much of that can be trusted, kos all receivers have different percentage values I suppose … I am learning German and know Spanish so them other ones are a bonus really ;)
 
Can take most readings with a pinch of salt, if it keeps a pic it's good enough. I have had receivers with 20% more signal than other's and still not lock a pic.
 
Ya that’s true too … lol always one more channel I want to get etc … just limited it to what I can get now and deal with it lol when I buy the mansion in Spain I’ll have a six meter dish hahah … prob by then though it will all be obsolete and we will all be in IPTV;) one thing I just noticed on the Technomate btw is the sound, the quality is better than any others I have had … just clearer and crispier and with the sound bar sound really good … SD pictures are same pretty much as any other but HD is good … I,m interested now in getting the upgrade done though …. I’ll take a look at the other website and see how things go from there lol
