I might see a bit of the grass when the water finally drains away !!!!!! I might even get to cut it if we get a few days of sunshine, at least the front, the back will take at least a week to dry out, providing the rain stops.

When I was out earlier I noticed that there are a lot of pine cones on the trees. Some pines are covered in them already. It seems to be a good year for them.

Soon it will be sunny enough to appreciate them without dodging the showers.

Just been out for a walk in the local lanes to catch the Bluebells before they go over.

The Wild Garlic is in full flower and the smell is wonderful.

Hmmm a few storms in Lincolnshire and generally over Britain they have increased in the last hour. Clear skies here with only distant cloud visable.

All the strikes that are cloud to ground are in Lincolnshire-a flat Shire!!!

Its nice to see someone else being rained on. I have had more than enough rain today.

Not had a drop today - which is just as well as the Utility boys finally turned out, four weeks after I reported it, to repair a leak that has resulted in water pouring down the road: At least they could see where it originated and use their "listening sticks" before digging up the verge.

I can see flashes on the Northeastern and Eastern horizons, certainly an active storm cell over Lincolnshire at the moment.

There was a lot of lightning on the horizon from Evil cloud, but by the time it got here it had run out of juice so just rained on us, but the lightning was impressive though... :)

Bought some lumpywood charcoal yesterday, dug out the bucket BBQ today, a surefire guarantee that it'll be a perfectly miserable summer.... :-rofl2

So much for lighter mornings, yesterday got ready to go to work on push bike as it looked such a nice day I'll ride in as I usually do.

I got 10 minutes away from home and a woman in a blue mini pulled out in front of me at a junction resulting in me going straight into her driver side door.

I'm fine and luckily bike isn't damaged as we both was going at a slow speed.

I heard the nice weather is going to stay around til Monday when we get some showers.

Sounds like you got lucky there Wod.

I got a smaller car a while ago because the roads are so narrow that lorries have to drive on the white line and a lot of other cars and SUVs end up very close to the white line. Particularly when coming round the corners as the roads are quite twisty.

A few weeks ago I was driving up a rise and into a blind corner. I virtually passed him when I realized I was driving past a cyclist wobbling around on the white line just after the blind bend. Wtf he was playing at I have no idea. If he was on the corner and a car was coming round one side and a lorry the other, there is nowhere for the lorry driver to go to, then it would have been splat.

As it is I always go hard left on those corners because that is how many car accidents happen, someone drifts out and clips the other car.
