I have just purchased a brand new Gibertini OP125L :)

What would be the distance required for individual stand-alone mounts to have clearance from each other?

Gibertini OP100L-Motorized, Gibertini OP125L-Static with option for motorized.

The mount i have is 62cm height for 1 meter dish, other base for 1.2 meter dish is to be made, will be more in height.

I will probaly move the 1 meter installed dish in front of the 1.2 dish, and more centered.

At your location just divide the dish horizontal diameters in two, the add the numbers.

But 150 cms will be more than enough.

So like this?
104.0 / 52.00, 124.5 / 62.25, = 114.25

Thanks, for your answer Channel Hopper, i have been up to the roof and the placement i was considering is exposed from east-west, so will place the 1 meter dish further towards the south :)

So i got the stand-alone mount made and installed yesterday by the same person as my previous install. It's dimensions are 90x3x85, and the other mount is 48x2x60, here are some pictures. The 1.2 meter dish still needs some fine tuning at 7east.

I still need to run extra cables, first test on 23.5 east showed 3db improvement on 1.2 meter dish!

Nice work.

What make is the water heater in front of the second dish ?

I'll have to take a closer look, and get back to you.

It's a Maltezos, the writing has worn off.

Hi, i fine tuned fixed 1.2 meter dish at 23.5 east!

Here are a couple of readings.

Update: After testing 1.2 meter dish at 30 west, it seems there is obstruction by the palm tree :(
Also, 1 meter dish has obstuction by the tall tree, at 1.9 & 3 & 4.8 east.

So, i'm re-thinking a new placement for both dishes, further east by constructing a sheltered wall behind them.

Hi, for now i have fixed the 1.2 meter dish at 28.2 east, i cleared the uhd channels last night, but in the morning they were gone.

Astra Ultra HD Demo, SES UHD Demo Channel
12441 V 29500 8/9, 2E europe beam

I set it up at S66TV3 11112 H 22000 5/6, 2G europe beam. I will try again tonight for the above channels!

O.k, they are back on! Here are the signal levels.

Hi, i have decide to motorize 1.2 meter dish! Got the polar mount, vbox2 and 18" actuator :)

You won't regret it.
( as long as the polarmount are from a reputable supplier)

Update: My installer friend and i setup the polarmount & actuator. Cleared 22 west but not 30 west due to obstruction :( Also cleared 50 east, but we mostly tried the west side. We will probally re-postion the stand alone mount more east. Also cleared 1.9 & 3 & 4.8 east which was obstructed by tall tree on the 1 meter dish. The vbox2 is giving er2 error and does not store satellites, only moves the dish 1 step at a time.

Before the setup, i managed to jam two bolts & screws on the az-el part of the fixed dish, where the fine adjustment piece is placed, and had to use a wrench socket to snap them off, luckily they still where long enough to fit.

Here are some pictures of the setup :)

The dish is at 7 west in the pictures.

Honestly, if I were you I'd find a way to place the dish over the tile roof I see in the back. But I'm that crazy....
