diameter of my Invacom ADF with a vernier caliper and it is 25.0mm

Your caliper is accurate moonbase :), no real need for a split holder with the end of the scaler screwing of, ive gone for a steel one, will weld this lot up and connect it to the aluminium holder with threaded rod, this will allow movement in every direction.

Your caliper is accurate moonbase...

It's a Mitutoyo caliper with old style clock face, I got a couple of them second hand, they seem accurate enough for my bodge jobs.

The scalar ring turns too easy so put some ptfe on it, also two of the screw holes are very slightly out to accept this lnb, will run same size drill at a slight angle through holes

Picked some aluminium up for new arms and lnb holder rings, started tapping the dish arms, need to bend them next and cut them to length.

Thats a real old vice you have there got there with the quick release handle. The old tools are the best, a lot better than the modern Chinese stuff made from moderate grade steel.

Quick, perhaps uninformed question:

Is it on purpose that the feedarm attachment points are not spaced equally around the ring-shaped part of the holder?
The angular distance seems to be 100, 130, 130, or so...

The one your quoting me on was guess work/my maths calculations and was slightly out, this ones correct
