I see. It must be a slight optical illusion created by the extension side not being aligned with the center.
I'm sure you're right, but the two bottom ones looks slightly off-angle :)

Its hard to tell from a picture if you look at the feed arms ive just made some look longer than others but there not,

Things are as they should be, my work tolerance for a completed item is less than a mm , even if not as long as the LNB is pointing in the correct place it makes no difference :)

Thanks J, not as good as yours but they will do the job, my ring roller should be here tomorrow, hopefully get a feed holder knocked up, another job will be making a focal finder, I will use a laser pointer to make one.

You don't want to buy one J, there about $150 DH antenna sell them, scroll down this instruction manual

60″ H to H Powered | DH Satellite

Get this, drill a hole same size as needed 2x2 wood would be best it will fit down lnb throat better for keeping it straight, then drill the middle hole to same size as laser pen job done.

Pot riveted the arms to make sure of no movement and installed them, ring rollers turned up, what a nice day to be playing with the dish.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Yes lovely day John nice to be out in the sun, hope it stays like this while November,

First attempt with the ring roller, pleased with this, will also be handy for experimenting making scale rings.

Hi moonbase yes I like the sun :), bit more done, its still work in progress i need to take it back off and install the 25mm adjuster central, will make it adjustable left/right/up/down for fine tuning,

Bought a laser pen today to make the focal finder.

Thanks J.
Scalar ring mods

Its certainly something to play with, too small scalar will under illuminate the dish two big will over illuminate the dish, make a few various sizes and see what happens.

Thanks John that will be usefull.

Hi C, Johns going mainly C band and me Ku. I guess we will swap and change at some point, it will be useful to give us a idea how tuned our antennas are, but having said that some footprints are that tight the only true way is side by side comparison,

Obviously we both will be looking at the hard to get :)

My dish might not perform in KU due to its age/might be spun for C band, I will install the channel master if not.

Bought a laser pen today to make the focal finder

Made one for this Ku holder :)

Nearly finished, need to put focal finder in and see how much adjustment I need to apply to the ring, the ring will be a permanent fixture, I will make central adaptors for other feeds I decide to install.

Very nice adjustable feed holder, impressive piece of work. You should patent the design and start production :)
The feed holder looks to be universal, the three adjustment rods that centre the feed seem capable of accepting C, Ku and Ka size feeds
