Weird cover versions of well known songs.

Im not a great fan of post 2000 music but Keane did a nice ballad in 2004 called Everybodys Changing. A couple of years later Lily Allan just about ruined it with her horrible sarf Landan accent!

And if Pilot's Magic being done in French is sad then it being done by Disney is positively tragic!

Stardate 1977. Space are in the charts with an unusually futuristic instrumental track called Magic Fly. ts immediately covered by a group called Caravelli.




Whilst the following year a version with Finnish lyrics surfaces :-DOH


 
Summer 1985 & Austrain group Opus have a massive hit with Life Is Live. We have already has Leibach's weird version a few years back on the thread

Also another name that does sometimes appear with pmj is Mary Spender.

All very talented artists in my opinion.
